Specialized Training for Public Safety Professionals

Explore practical training programs designed for government agencies, law enforcement personnel, first responders, and military organizations. Our courses combine experienced instruction with real-world knowledge to support operational readiness, informed decision-making, and professional development.

The best agencies in this country were built by leaders who never stopped becoming better ones. Command: Building Leaders Worth Following was built for the people who actually run police agencies: Lieutenants, Captains, Deputy Chiefs, Assistant Chiefs, and Chiefs.

It starts from an uncomfortable truth: your agency already looks like you, for better or worse. Over the course of a full day, you'll work through what command really costs, why your organization is a mirror whether you want it to be or not, how to build a culture that survives budget cuts and bad news cycles, and why the hardest conversation you're avoiding right now is probably the one your agency needs most.

The signature module focuses on building officers who can make good decisions without you standing over their shoulder. It’s worth the registration fee on its own.

There's no fluff, no recycled corporate leadership slides with a badge photoshopped on top, and no pretending that command is easy.

Leadership in law enforcement is defined not only by the decisions made during moments of crisis, but by the character demonstrated every day. This unique and thought-provoking eight-hour course presents two powerful perspectives on leadership, ethics, accountability, and organizational culture that challenge attendees to examine the responsibilities of both leaders and those they lead.

During the first half of the course, participants hear firsthand from a former law enforcement officer whose unethical decisions ultimately led to the loss of his badge, career, reputation, and freedom. Through an honest and candid discussion, attendees gain rare insight into the gradual erosion of integrity, the warning signs that were overlooked, the rationalizations that fueled poor decision-making, and the devastating personal and professional consequences that followed. This is not a story intended to sensationalize misconduct, but to educate officers and supervisors on how ethical failures develop long before they become headlines.

The second half of the course is presented by an experienced law enforcement officer and current Chief of Police who examines the leadership principles necessary to build an ethical organization and prevent misconduct before it occurs. Topics include leadership before rank, the burden of command, balancing humility and ego, understanding the difference between organizational culture and climate, leading through critical incidents, promoting officer wellness, and reinforcing accountability and ethical decision-making. Through practical group exercises and leadership discussions, participants will leave with actionable strategies designed to strengthen professional character, build resilient organizations, and inspire ethical leadership at every level of their careers.

This course is ideal for current and aspiring supervisors, command staff, field training officers, and law enforcement professionals committed to developing principled leadership and preserving the public’s trust. By combining lessons learned from failure with proven leadership practices, attendees gain a powerful understanding of how leadership can either contribute to organizational decline or become the foundation for lasting excellence.

In this course, San Diego Police Sergeant and SWAT Team Leader Anthony "Tony" Elliott delivers a raw, first-person account of survival, resilience, and the life philosophy that carried him through one of the most catastrophic moments a Law Enforcement Officer can face.

Drawing from his own near-fatal on-duty shooting, Sergeant Elliott examines the mindset, habits, and daily choices that quietly build a person's capacity to withstand trauma before it ever arrives. Participants will explore how diversifying your life beyond your career, prioritizing family, embracing failure as incoming information rather than a final verdict, and building hardship as a deliberate habit can reduce the shock of adverse events and accelerate recovery when the worst happens.

Sergeant Elliott challenges Public Safety Professionals to reexamine where they place their identity, because the officers who survive the unthinkable are rarely those who lived only for the job. They are the ones who built a full life around it. This course also addresses how trauma radiates outward, impacting spouses, children, and colleagues, and why a healthy family and support system is not a luxury but a tactical asset.

Grounded in lived experience rather than theory, participants will leave with a practical framework for building lasting wellness, mental fortitude, and the kind of resilience that holds up when everything is on the line.

Finally, participants will walk through a structured after-action review of the critical incident itself. They will examine legal decision-making under AB 392, supervisor judgment, tactical positioning, and the real consequences of operating in the gray zone. This will give professionals a rare, unfiltered look at how one night's decisions changed everything and what every officer can learn from it.

A full day leadership course for officers preparing to become supervisors and for current supervisors who want to become stronger leaders. Being a good officer does not automatically make someone a good supervisor. They are different jobs that require different skills. This course is designed for that important transition when an officer becomes responsible for leading other officers.

Whether you are preparing for your first promotion, are a corporal or sergeant still developing your leadership skills, or are an experienced supervisor looking to improve, this course focuses on the challenges supervisors face every day. Participants will learn what leadership requires, why good leaders must first understand how to follow, how to recognize their own strengths and weaknesses, and how to handle difficult conversations before problems grow.

Each section includes a small group exercise based on situations supervisors may actually face. The goal is simple: to give participants practical leadership skills they can use when they return to their agency.

The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), the direct “action arm” of the Government of Iran, and the IRGC’s surrogate terrorist group, Hezbollah, represent the greatest potential threat to the Homeland. Currently, Israel, Hezbollah, Iran, and HAMAS are at war. The Middle East is in violent turmoil once again, with potentially serious implications for the region and the U.S.

This class provides an overview of Iran and Hezbollah, the ties that bind them, and the potential courses of action this conflict may take that could impact the Homeland. As HAMAS is now linked to both Hezbollah and Iran, we will provide a brief overview of the current situation with that group and address its potential threat to the Homeland.

A brief history and overview will be provided on the IRGC and Hezbollah, with a section on their evolution to current times. Their objectives, motivations, and tactics, techniques, and procedures will be illuminated as a means of understanding how to spot and recognize pre-incident indicators of their activities inside the U.S.

Redlines for a direct attack by Hezbollah and/or the IRGC inside our country will be discussed, and case studies of Hezbollah and IRGC activity will be examined to give attendees a clear picture of what both groups are doing in the Homeland.

Finally, mitigation strategies will be provided to allow attendees, including First Responders, Law Enforcement Officials, Civilian Authorities, and the Private Sector, to assist in diminishing this looming threat.
